Support from Bob Irwin
Founder – the Bob Irwin Wildlife & Conservation Foundation
Bob Irwin lived his childhood in the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria, where his intense interest in wildlife and its environment occupied all of his spare time.
Bob and his wife Lyn founded the Beerwah Reptile & Wildlife Park, and their passion for the environment was a way of life for the Irwin children. The most famous of Bob’s children was Steve, who became the larger than life and much loved Crocodile Hunter. Bob Irwin Wildlife & Conservation Foundation represents the culmination of a lifelong commitment to Australian wildlife, and with your support, will continue his incredible work. Out thanks to Bob Irwin and the team at the Bob Irwin Wildlife & Conservation Foundation for this statement of support. We share Bob's love of the Australian environment and recognise the key role played by flying foxes in helping to shape and maintain the environment.
Bob add his considerable experience and knowledge of Australian wildlife, to the voices of other conservationists and animal welfare experts who want to see a way ahead that if free from cruelty. Together we must find solutions which are ethical and effective. |
